Depends on when you got a mouse II. I just got one of the new made in China
mouse IIs. It has a heavy grey ball. I also have one of the early made
in Malaysia mouse IIs and the in between one, made in Taiwan. The only
problem any of 'em has is a sticky button problem the Malaysian has on my
Quadra. Sometimes when you press the button and let off, the Mac thinks
the button is still down until you press it again. For some reason it
doesn't do this on my ROM 3 IIgs. I'd avoid that one though just the same.

It took me about one try to decide I like the mouse II better than the
original. I don't mind the Mac Plus mouse too bad either aside from how it has
those little plastic legs that wear out pretty fast if you use it rough.
