Before anyone tries to implement this, consider this: writing a
filesystem (HFS) without any way (HFS) to verify that the disk (HFS)
is in proper order (HFS) is asking for trouble (HFS). Data corruption
(HFS) can occur and you (HFS) would never notice it. (HFS)

In other words, write a Norton (HFS) disk doctor at the time as you
write the filesystem (HFS) to catch bugs and blasted drives (HFS).
