Should I buy this? $20 ][e

I'm posting from my fiancee's account because I can't post from my own.
10 IF (E-mail reply) THEN (send to: aprntice@bossa.oit.unc.edu): REM thanx.

Today I saw an unenhanced ][e with a color monitor for $20. I drooled at the
sight, but I'm really tight on cash. :( I grabbed a cable from the stereo
section so I can hook up the monitor and test things out. :) Couldn't boot it
(no disks) but it passed the internal self test.

I'd like to have the monitor for my own setup. My question is: can I sell the
rest of the system to recover my initial investment (getting the monitor for
free) AND be doing a service to my fellow Apple ][ users? I could disassemble
and sell the parts for "recovery cost":

power supply
keyboard
unenhanced motherboard
80col/64K board
Grapple+ parallel card
3rd party (I forget who) serial card
unidentified (appears to be serial buffer) card
Disk II card
Microsoft "smartcard" Z80 card.
Apple joystick

Anybody know how the Microsoft card is supposed to function? It was in slot 7,
which is "normal" for a CPM card, but a PR#7 would just lock the machine up.
I'm guessing it's a CPM card anyway. :)

For the (almost too common to sell) motherboard and disk drives, I could do
some personal modifications to them. I can replace the motherboard's ROMs with
EPROMS, which could hold any data you wish. I could add a switch to the
drive(s) so you won't have to cut/cover disk notches to write/protect your
diskettes. Thanks in advance for your reply.
