That is a good proposal and, if followed, would do much to bring
Asimov "into the light." I would consider Asimov legit if it
followed your proposal.
As it is now, it is contrary to most provisions of your proposal.
It also has several "living" software titles. AppleWorks 2,
especially since it is enhanced with QuickSpell, would fall into
the "living" category, as you stated in your proposal because
AppleWorks 5 is a derivative of it. Contrary to what some people
have been saying, AW2 w/QuickSpell running on a GS with the RAM5
RAM disk set up results in a remarkably "modern" AppleWorks WP
with a large desktop space. Its availability can directly harm
the sales of the current version.
Also, some of Asimov's wares are still being sold, like the
Atarisoft titles. Someone noted that ProSEL 8 was there and only
recently removed.
The only reason we are not seeing GS titles is because they don't
yet have GS emulators. It is no wonder that Asimov's out of print
titles out number their in print titles, since most of the
remaining in print titles are GS specific.
