First off, I'm posting your reply to comp.sys.apple2 rather than
comp.binaries.apple2, where you posted your question.  comp.binaries.apple2
is for encoded binaries only, and not discussions.

Anyhow, to answer your question, ClarisWorks on the Mac will import
AppleWorks files.  The tricky part is getting them onto the Mac.  If you
have PC Exchange or you have System 7.5 or later, then the Mac will read the
ProDOS disks, provided they fit in the drive...  if it's on a 5.25" disk,
then you'll probably need to hook up a serial cable between the II and the
Mac and transfer the file with a terminal program.

I'm sure a few of the other good word processors will import AW as well.  On
the other hand, from inside AppleWorks, you can save the files to a text
file by telling AppleWorks to print the file, then picking ASCII file on
disk for the printer.
