I had the same problem on my system when I used Playful from GS+
Magazine. I only had 150k+ worth of icon files thoughh. Whenever I'd try
to play a sound by double clicking, the message would pop up in the middle
and the machine would crash. I've reinstalled my system since then and
everything seems to work now. I did redo my icon files with IconEd 1.3
this time around and everything is fine now. Playful gives no errors
anymore. I suspect ICE (also from GS+ magazine) trashed my icon files in
some way and thus "triggered" the error. That is, of course, only a
speculation on my part, for what it's worth. When I open my icon files
with ICE now, I notice that some of the line edit fields have a ton of
inverse ?'s in them. Anyone have any ideas? I'd love to see this bug
trashed.

: some weirdball cases in the Finder Get Info dialogs.
Well, Playful (a FinderExtra from GS+ magazine) is the only thing
that triggered it on my system. Good luck in squashing this bug (and
thanks for GUPP)!
