I have it on my system as well, and I think it turned up somewhat
recently, judging by its directory position.

Found it - it came with Spectrum 2.0.

As for what it does...  Pass.

System 5.0, I think.  The BIG problem: it uses a resource attached to
the file, so it is not possible to add one to a ProDOS-8 program.  In
addition, this is not an appropriate use of the comment.  The comment
is supposed to be there for the USER to add a comment, not the author
of the program.

The "version" resource can be used to provide some information on the
program status, which appears in the Icon Info window.
