Isn't it that you have to re-format the partitions with the finder or Adv.
Disk Utils? I think I read somewhere that when formatting with the RF utils,
there isn't written some information to the first blocks (zero block?). Other
formatting software does.

Why don't you just press the 0 key at startup, which will pop up the RF Util
program, from where you select a partition, and boot from there.

When I want to start up my BBS (where I am posting from now), I press the 0,
enter RF utils, press OA-Q, then BOOT, and immediately after that I press the
8. I know there is a small patch that remaps the 8 key to the DELETE key (made
by Geoff??), but I haven't got it installed.

Anyway, lots of nonsense, but I'd say: just press the 0 key and boot from
there. It's faster than accessing from a custom System Disk...
