RamFast?!?!?!?
I was wondering about a problem I've had with my RamFast 3.01e.
I believe the problem is operater error somewhere. Sometimes, in fact
"usually" when I turn on my computer (no matter the time in between), it
will try to boot one of my other partitions. Usually one of the ones that
is not got a system on it, like GAMES, GRAPHICS, FILES, etc. And then
when I try and reboot it seems that it is stuck on this particular
unbootable partition and I get the " UNABLE TO LOAD PRODOS "! This
gets frustrating when in a hurry, such as at the end of the month and
wanting to print out billing for the month and in a hurry to get it done
so it can be delivered and get paid sooner!
I would say this happens 9 outa 10 start ups. Is there something
I need to do to place the main startup partition into permanent position
until I'm ready to access RamFast utility and change the startup partiton
to a different one.
What I usually do is keep 1 system disk close by and a disk with
the RamFast Utility on it and then go to the control panel and reset the
startup drive, reboot and then access the utility program and reset the
startup partition and then select the new partition to boot. And then get
where I wanted to be 5 minutes ago.
I'm thinking that I've not got something set properly. :(
Anyway hopefully someone can shed some light on this. :)
Thanks,
Mike :)
