The latest version of appleworks that I purchased waxs the 4 version from
QComputers. Every version up to that one told you the total number of words
when you did a spell check of any sort (in context, list view, whatever) as
long as you had some sort of 'summary' option selected (clipboard or
on-screen). The total number of words is in the top left corner of the
'spell summary' screen, right next to teh total number of misspelled words.
This should be true for version 5.1 also. Hope this helps.
