It is okay to use 2 SCSI cards (they act independently). I had no option
but to use two because of the newness of my 1.08gb hard drive -- it uses
the SCSI-2 technology that requires the host adapter to provide an ID
number. The RamFAST card does not do this. However, the Apple Rev C
card does (good 'ole Apple). At the time, I purchased the best SCSI
controller and hard drive that I could get my hands on, not knowing that
they would be incompatible. Check out the thread on Quantum Fireball and
Empire drives that have the same problem. Since I forked out the bucks
for the best RamFAST card, I figured it only made sense to utilize it's
speed, so I put my Zip drive on it.
