There are GS emulators for various platforms. Since I'm Mac-inclined, I have
only followed projects for that particular thing.
On the Mac, you're out of luck for the time being. There's a GUS beta (alpha?)
copy floating around. GUS is said to be part of Copland (think of it as a way
enhanced PC Exchange :-))) ). I haven't seen it running but it's supposed to be
pretty cool. Last but not least, it's made by the creme de la creme of Apple II
DTS.
Another GS emu is Hindenburg by Tony Morales. I'm not sure how far he is.
As for II emulation, check out Stop The Madness. It's a great peiece of
software.
