GS Emulator

Hello, just a quick question here. I have been picking up bits and pieces 
of threads talking about a GS emulator actually existing. My freenet 
doesn't keep articles around for long, so I haven't picked up on any 
details. Can someone please clear this up for me?

On a similar note, a friend of mine has claimed to have seen a couple of 
GS emulators, in public hands. I believe he mentioned something about GUS 
(?) for the Mac, as well as claiming he has also seen one running on a 
PC (he said he saw a friend playing Bouncin' Ferno on a PC, and then 
quit back to the Finder). Is this really a possibility, or is he
'exaggerating'. Just curious.
