It's been no secret here on c.s.a2 here for the past year or more
that certain Quantum drives do NOT work on the GS because of the
changing specs for SCSI-2. A nice trick (not providing a host ID) was
allowable in original SCSI, but SCSI-2 apparently allows drives to
require that. [Anyone want to compile up a list of these drives to
avoid purchasing?]
By the way, the name of the card is RamFAST-SCSI, not RamFAST-SCSI-2.
I wouldn't hold out hope for a fix.
