I haven't tried this drive, but I did have probles with an Apple HS
SCSI card and a clone of the Apple CD-300 drive. To get it to work
properly, I had to have a CD-ROM in the drive while booting.
The audio drivers provided by Apple don't support anything other than
the original Apple CDSC, CDSC+ and CD-150. There are third-party
Media Toolset drivers for supporting audio on SCSI-2 drives such as
the CD-300 and CD-600.
