My new GS

Well, I want to thank you all for the input (it was truly helpful) on 
buying a GS.  I do now have a few more questions:

1:  It came with no software, including DOS or Prodos.  Are these still 
    available and where can I find them?

2:  The Apple RGB works, but the convergence is why off.  Is this 
    something that someone who is fairly good with electronics, but not 
    an engineer can deal with, or am I better off finding a used monitor? 
    If the later, what should I expect to pay?

3:  Lastly, it has 512k, I would like to increase that.  I do have 
    some old memory chips, but this maching came with no manual for the  
    memory board.  What kind of chips does it require.  I have a bunch of 
    4256-10 and 51258P-10 static column ram, can I be that lucky?
