Hello all.
    What is the latest/last version of ProDOS and when was the last time
it was updated?
    Apple has a DiskCopy ProDOS disk image file called "Apple II System
Disk" on their FTP site. I downloaded it, extracted it, copied it onto a
800k 3.5" disk, and tried to boot it up on my newly aquired Apple IIgs. It
responded: "UNABLE TO LOAD PRODOS". Has Apple put a bad copy of ProDOS on
their FTP site, or what?

Latest version of Prodos8 is 2.0.3, and came with GSOS6.0.1 where it is
called P8 ( which has 35k size) whereas the GSOS6.0.1 Prodos has about 3k.
UNABLE TO LOAD PRODOS usually means that you dont have Prodos on the
disk. Mybe you loaded P8 to the disk and didnt rename it Prodos?
