RE:Latest version of ProDOS???

The latest issue of ProDOS is 2.0.3.  Can't recall exactly when it came out 
-- about 2 to 3 years ago.  It requires at least an enhanced Apple IIe.  The 
last version that would work on an unenhanced Apple II 9with 64k) was ProDOS 
1.9.
 
You may well have a corrupted version of ProDOS.  If the file you downloaded 
came from the same source as the May 1995 Apple Media Exchange CD 
(distributed to all Apple dealers), then it's bad.
 
However, there could be other problems.  Try formatting another disks and 
copy to that -- and try another drive.
