: Does not sound like an RGB monitor so will not take advantage of
: IIgs's RGB. Will probably work off the IIgs's RCA connection.
Will work off of the RCA connection, but since it is a digital RGB
monitor it will also accept analog signals if they are at 15kHz. You'll
only see 16 colors, though...I successfully did this with a Commodore
1902A monitor and an Amiga at that scan rate. You'll just need to get
the pinouts. This method is much clearer than going the composite route
on this monitor, with the only sacrifice being the number of colors.
: >2. Commodore 1084S analog/digital RGB and composite monitor: Good
: This monitor will work on a IIgs with the proper cable. You can
: either make it yourself (I have the instructions posted by another
: csa2er) or buy it from Redmond Cable (206-882-2009).
: The quality is reportedly slightly below that of the IIgs RGB
: monitor.
This is one of the finest monitors that Commodore ever made. The stereo
sound is an excellent feature. This monitor is also bigger than the
Apple RGB that typically comes with the GS.
