I'm going to take a stab in the dark and say that any utility of
an 8M VNRAM disk has diminished since 1989 with the introduction of FAST
(and cheap) SCSI and IDE drives. The name of the RAMFast board hints at
the fact that with a fast drive DMA can match RAM disk performance.
