Re: What Good is our Apple II's?

You might ask around if there's another school in your area that would like
them. I volunteer for an organization that refurbishes old computers for use
by special needs students and there is a surprisingly high demand for old
equipement. For example, we recently got a request for 16 Apple IIes, and I
think another came in for 15 more. Some of our local schools have also been
replacing their Apple II labs and we wish there was a good avenue to get
these two groups together. Unfortunately it seems there's less paperwork to
just throwing them out than giving them to someone who wants them. I jst
asked them to tell me which dumpster to look in :)
