You can purchase MCM6206-30 (32K * 8, 30 nsec, 0.6 mil wide, SRAMs) from
"AMERICA II ELECTRONICS", 1-800-767-2637.
: Is the chip stable?
It depends on the quality of the 65C816 you receive from WDC and your
SRAMs.
: Also, please let me know if you are happy with this chip, or if you have
: had any problems with it.
I'm very happy with my 14Mhz 65C816, but I'm still running at 10Mhz since
I haven't had the time to get some decent SRAMs.
By the way, I've heard that WDC is now selling a 20Mhz 65C816, but remember
the GS's 1Mhz memory bottleneck. I am sure that the change from 14Mhz to
20Mhz will be very minimal due to this.
