Help for a returning user

Hello Apple //ers!

I sold my old Rom 03 GS about 3 years ago when I started college as a CS Major 
and needed somethign more "professional".  Well life has a way of correcting 
your mistakes, and another ROM 03 machine just dropped into my lap yesterday.  
I've got a VOC card, a Zip card, and a 300 mb scsi drive in the system.  
However, what I don't have is a sound card,or software.  What is the status to 
the // community today?  Is there an FTP site for software somewhere...What 
about the latest version of the system software? Is there a place to order a 
sound card from?  

Also, I've got two PC's networked together using Windows for workgroups, and 
Win 95.  They are sharing a DeskJet 500 printer.  Is there anyway that I can 
use Appletalk to tap into this network and let the GS share the printer also?

Finally, a friend told me of  a GS graphical web browser.  Is this true?  
Where can I get this beast?
