Fatal system error

	What is Fatal System Error 512?  I just got this weird behavior,
tried to quit the Finder and it gave me this error.
	The weird behavior was:  I just finished using Balloon, closed
the window, and the icons were not being redrawn.  Usually, to solve
weird problems, I quit to the previous application, then relaunch the
Finder.  But when I quit the Finder, it crashed.
	The problem is not duplicable, but I would like to know what
this error means.
