I bought a Ampex PC Megastore System Hard Disk Model 127 (22 meg).
It came with the manual and disks, but NOT the host adapter.
I am trying to connect it to my RamFast SCSI card.
I believe that the Model 127 is a SASI drive.
I know that the card supports SASI drives.
My problem is the cable connection.
The Model 127 has a 50 pin ribbon cable connector that connects
to the cable adapter that went to the host adapter.
The RamFast has a DB-25 connector.
I guess I need to either make or buy an adapter cable.
Has anyone ever done this? If so please help me.
I'd like to get the wiring diagram for the cable that I need.
Where in the chain should the Model 127 be placed?
Will I need to use a terminator on the Model 127?
Please help me. :-)
