Just FYI:

The MacIP driver for GS/TCP works with the GS' built-in LocalTalk.  Initial 
tests done on an accelerated GS (ZIP) talking to a macintosh powerbook have 
shown ftp transfer rates in the vicinity of 10k bytes/s outgoing and 7k 
bytes/s incoming.  GS/TCP is still in the optimization phase, but these 
results are pretty encouraging.
