That is off topic. Announcements go to the google group that was
created for them...
I'm sure you're making a joke, but that google group isn't usenet.
Hence it's like saying "don't post announcements here, use a website".
One would have to look very hard to find a reason to banish something
to elsewhere unless it's to another Usenet newsgroup.
