The PC uses a different resistor value. It is possible to modify the
joystick to work properly on an Apple II by adding capacitors to the
paddle input signals. You also have to wire up the buttons
differently, because the PC joystick grounds them when pressed, while
the Apple II one ties them to +5V when pressed.
