This reminds me, I've just recently started having problems with my
keyboard and mouse on my GS. Sometimes, the keyboard becomes totally
unresponsive, even to a three-fingered-salute. Turning my GS off for
20sec and turning it back on fixes it, but it does seem to happen
about thrice a week or so. Once, the mouse pointer started moving
left by itself, and then the mouse and keyboard locked up.
I'm doing the ProDOS "8" boot straight into ProSel 8 and then to
ProTERM v3.1, fwiw (no GS/OS). I don't know why more ppl do this,
especially since even my 10Mhz/64k Zip tends to lose characters if
I don't "8" boot (even after shift-booting) :) (If you have a
RamFAST, just hack the "ProDOS" file and change the 8 to Z or
something, or use that one patcher that does it for ya)
Thanks,
Pete
