It's not a real signature, it's printed on there. It's the same grey lettering
stuff as the "Apple IIgs" lettering on the front.

Natch, since ROM 01 was only a one or two chip swap.

Also not all ROM 0s were signature editions. The IIgs was in production for
about a year before ROM 01 came out and signature editions were all early in
production. I was surprised to get one when I got my IIgs in March '87.
