   Given that most assembly programs tend to have non-code in the
middle of them, such as strings, space for some temporary variables,
graphics (for games), and the like, trying to list each "instruction"
(which is a sequence of bytes indistinguishable from text/ graphics/
storage except that it doesn't crash when executed) in a program is
flawed at best.

   If it's a tiny program, you might be able to get away with dumping
it to the printer. If it's something big, you'd need something more
intelligent, usually involving a bit of human interaction.
