As I seem to recall you must kill this mummy to continue on to level 5.
The only problem is that when you do kill this mummy you will release a
lot of the Magenta Worms.
So, before you kill this mummy, continue down the passage an make sure
that you kill all of the other monsters on this level.  Then bash the 
wooden door to break it open, and get ready for the magenta worms again.

After you have killed all of these worms, go back and kill the mummy and
get ready for even more magenta worms (I think).  Anyway after you kill 
all of the worms and then kill the mummy, you will be able to leave
level 4 and procede to level 5.
