Dungeon Master was IMHO the best role-playing game on the IIGS (I
won in 3 times!). If I recall correctly, the mummy prisoner was
the one standing in an area blocked off by a pit & with a sign "This
is my prisoner. Let him die" (something like that?).
Yes, you are supposed to kill him. I think any airborne weapon will
kill him. Anyway, walk down to the end of the hallway (facing the
mummy, the hallway is to your right), and there should be two doors.
One you break down with an axe, and the other is triggered by a
switch you find somewhere else. Be prepared to fight :).
