.shk to .dsk, ADT, Catch-22
Is there a way to get a .SHK file to a .DSK format?
Asimov has lots of disk images (.dsk), but there are even more Apple
programs in the .shk format (ie: from the Caltech archives).
I use ApplePC and I also have an Apple ][+. I'm trying to get a basic
comm program to my ][+ but the only one I can find that's in .dsk
format is KERMITP.DSK and that doesn't seem to work with my Super
Serial Card (it apparently doesn't have the right driver).
PROTERM.DSK doesn't run on my ][+, requires a 65C02.
All other comm programs I can find are in .shk format, which I can't
transfer to my ][+ -- without a comm program.. Catch-22.
I use ADT to transfer .dsk files to my ][+. BTW, I think ADT is a
great program.
Can someone upload to asimov a .DSK of any comm program that runs on a
][+? I have seen the following programs:
Zlink
Comm8
Colorterm
Telecom
Megaterm
Snowterm
Unfortunately, *all* in .shk, not .DSK! ug! :(
