You are not likely to get very far until the copy protection is
defeated. This has changed a bit with different releases of the game. All
deprotection methods involve editing a sector on each side of the
diskette. Roughly 40 bytes are entered in each edit.
The tools you will need are an Apple II, Copy II+, and at least one
issue of COMPUTIST. Taco van Leperen published the first comprehendsive
deprotect article in issue #20. J.C. suggests some mods in issue #23. B.D.
Swimley's deprotect is in issue #42. Issues #20 and #42 also include
deprotects for Wizardry II.
