May well be that the original program used ampersand additions to Basic.
There was a way to add machine langauge code and reference that with an
ampersand followed by a letter or series of letters. Basic would then go
and find the ml code and execute it. Some of the old Beagle Bros.
programs, the Roger Wagner programs, and some of ProSel and ProCmd from
Glen Bredon made frequent use of this trick.

So you may need to figure out where the ml code files are and how to load them.
