[PizzaFest] "Fast Eddie" IIGS-on-a-Mac

I have been asked some questions about Fast Eddie, Bright Software's
IIGS-on-a-Mac. It's very simple to build your own Fast Eddie, altough there are
several patents pending and don't dare building your own without paying the
license fee.

You need:

- a PowerMac or AV Mac
- a video cable (VHS)
- a IIGS
- a Video Digitizer such as FusionRecorder or Apple VideoPlayer

Step 1: hardware

Take the video cable and plug it into the video out port of your GS and into
the video-in port of your (AV) Mac.

Step 2: set up your Mac

Start your Mac and launch the video digitizer.

Step 3: 

Open the "Video Settings..." window and adjust color, contrast, etc.

Step 4:

Fast Eddie is now ready. Best of all, it does not require any significant CPU
cycles in your Mac...it's true multitasking. To operate the GS, use the mouse
and keyboard of your GS. To operate the Mac, use the Mac's inpout devices.

Fast Eddie is fully system 6.0.1 compatible and has been tested with all major
software products, that is: Wumpus, Tic-Tac-Toe and "Animals" from the DOS 3.3
master disk.
