Ok... I have a problem...
On this //gs I have, there's a directory with a really messed up name...
it has some control characters in it I believe, but I can't get rid of it.
Every program I've tried just complains about invalid pathname syntax
and won't do a thing with it (won't delete either). Any suggestions?
Is there any sort of program out there that will fix messed up catalogs?
I tried that program known as Bag of Tricks, but it doesn't support a
//gs... the forked files tend to cause havoc it seems... but in any case
it doesn't work.

Are you saying that the Finder even cant trash that file?
How about fileatrix?
