The only AppleWorks program I have found which requires waiting is AWGS,
any version.  I personally do not use AWGS, and don't plan to until I get
an accelerator and improved graphics.  AW 5.1, on the other hand, works
smashingly on my IIgs without any acceleration whatsoever.
