Sounds like the card is a 1mb expansion board with 256k installed. Assuming
it's a ROM1 IIgs, you have a total of 512k RAM. Congratualations!

The CPU is a 2.8Mhz 65816. The 65816 is a 16-bit version of the 6502
processor used in a host of early PCs. The CPU has a 16M address space,
but the IIgs is limited to a maximum 8Mb RAM.

If you are a computer hobbyist, the IIgs is a very nice computer to muck
around on, especially if you add a nice hard drive, extra memory, and
an accelerator board.
