Using disc images with Mac //e card

I just got my hands on the //e card for the mac, along with the 5 1/4
drive. Fun, wow :-) My goal now is to:

1. turn disc images DL'd from the net with my Mac into something usable
with my card. 
2. Store //e progams I now have on disk on the Prodos partition on my mac
hard drive. 

My experience with my old //c was limited to Appleworks, games, and copy
programs! Any help would be appreciated. Heck, I don't even have a 3.5
Prodos system disk.
