Hopefully others with more experience will ring in, but here is my 
two cents' worth: A GS running 6.0.1 isn't worth much without a 
minimum of 2MB, and 4MB is =highly= desireable.

For accelerators, the best way to go is ANY ZipGS; among the 
many models the faster clock speeds and bigger caches are of 
course desirable.  The TransWarp GS seems to be somewhat less 
reliable and draws a lot more power, but is certainly a worthwhile 
purchase as well.  As far as doing your own upgrade to the clock 
and cache, that is certainly doable, but even a stock 8mhz 16K 
ZipGS would be like night and day compared to the GS.

Last, you REALLY want to get yourself a RamFAST to replace your 
Apple SCSI interface.  The speed difference is quite astonishing.
