You really need to be asking Mac questions in one of the Macintosh
newsgroups.  This group covers Apple II topics.  For your edification,
the Apple II series of machines predates the Macintosh.

Hint: Although you did state this was in reference to a hard drive, most
uses of the word "memory" as in "memory upgrade" usually refer to RAM
and not hard drives.
