Don't let this stop you from releasing your new version. My offer of a 
distribution site for a Win32 release still stands.

Someone concerned with cross-platform compatability and other aspects of 
configuration management can sync your changes with their project. I am 
certain there are sufficient resources and talent to do so if this isn't how 
you want to spend your time.
