Actually, it's great to find a commited group of ][ users around.
While typing on my Mac IIci, I still pine for my old //e. That was
the little guy that got me into this whole thing-- programming,
experimenting, etc. Mac SUCKS as far as including ANY tech
docs. with the computer. Gee, my //e came with complete ROM
listings, for crying out loud.

I'm still convinced that it's the ultimate intro machine for kids,
what with it's complete openness (kudos to the Beagle Bros.).

Anyway, I'm glad I found you guys, and found out that I can find
a 1M RAM card for my //e. Dig it up and fill it up for general typing
and data filing.

Gosh, I loved that little guy.

Anyway, thanks for putting up with my moist sentiments.

Oh, BTW, the last ProDOS system I got was in about '88. Can't
remember the version. I think it was about the seconds revision.
Was there an upgrade since then that would work on a //e (128K
so far w/the studly extended 80-column card).

And I never got a 3.5" drive for it. What does one go for now?
