I don't remember the "factory" requirements, but I have loaded System 
6.0.1 with as little as 1 Megabyte.  No bells and whistles though: no 
Control Panels, DAs, etc.  It's not pretty, but it works.  :)

Having 2 Megs would be a lot better, 4 Megs and you're home free.  To 
really get the most out of it, a hard drive is a must.  Or if you just 
can't swing it, a good-size RAMdisk.
