Actually they do exist (to a degree).  There is a company in Australia
which calls itself Applied Engineering Computer Products.  Whether it
really is the original AE that was under Applied Research Industries I
don't know, but they do seem to have lots of the AE stuff on hand.  I'm
not so sure, however.  Their url is http://mars.nettrek.net.au/appleserv/.
