Re: //e Won't Boot/ROM questions

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions here and by e-mail.

I have moved the appropriate chips from the non-working enhanced //e to my
working unenhanced //e. Unfortunately I didn't perfect my chip removal
technique until I had one pin of the EF ROM firmly embedded in my finger.
 :-)

Then I put the unenhanced chips in the non-working //e for storage and
thought that just for fun I would plug it in and run the self diagnostic
test as suggested here. Sure enough when I turned it on it booted up fine
with an "APPLE ][" as it should have. Now I'm not sure what the problem
was with it but I have one working, enhanced //e which was all I was
looking for in the first place.

Thanks Again!
