Yes, I've been using a Rev. B (with 3.0j ROMS) card with my Zip. Aside
for the refusal to reset now and then (you sometimes have to try to
reset several times--no biggie), it works fine. I can't say exactly
what the different revisions mean, except that the D can handle 1 meg
of cache, whereas the older cards maxed out at 256k.

It should. I'll take you to the setup screen when first installed,
where you can set up your partition mapping.

It was CVTech, but I think Sequential handles them now.

Upgrades on the ROMs are available, and each upgrade supports more
devices. It'll only really matter if the ROM you've got now doesn't
support a device you're trying to connect.

I believe that the Rev. C's ROMs can be used on the Rev. B card, but
the Rev. D is a complete redesign, and I have my doubts as to the ROMs
compatibility with your Rev. B card. It won't damage the card, though,
if you give it a go and it doesn't work.
