Re: Apple IIGS Laptop Project announces bare-bones pricing
"What you probably don't realize is that this project is not done one
person but by 7 different Apple II hardware manufactures. Each
designing one part of the project.
ok ..from the above quote and the price you mention am i wrong to assume
that essentially you are trying to make a "real laptop" ie...something that
more
or less "looks" like 2010 camshell open the screen keyboard setup up laptop?
a redesign on that scale?
if that is the case ....and it looks like a laptop in form/function at
todays laptop
standards for design etc.the price is still not cheap ...but from that
direction i can
get my mind around the price...
if it is just a luggable with a 8" screen etc ..well not so much
clarify please for those of us not up to speed on the project details
but again if it is a 'real deal" looking modern laptop design ..i guess i
can sorta understand
the pricing reality
